| Scholarship
Funds Residents of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle are
eligible for scholarships funded through the Amarillo Area Foundation.
The deadline for all scholarship applications is February 1 of each year.
Applications must be in the office of the Foundation by 5:00 p.m. on February
1 each year. Applications will not be accepted after that date.
The Amarillo Area Foundation offers scholarships in several different
fields of study:
Accounting, Agriculture, Education, Governmental Services, Human
Sciences, Nursing, Medical, Pharmacology, and Unrestricted.
In 2006, the Amarillo Area Foundation awarded scholarships for more than
294,000 dollars.
