Aubra Nooncaster PHS Class of 1952 Endowment
Scholarship
This
scholarship was established in September 2004 by alumni of the Pampa
High School Class of 1952 as a tribute to their late teacher Aubra
Nooncaster. Mr. Nooncaster
taught in
Pampa
for thirty-one (31) years, and in addition to teaching, coaching, and
mentoring, authored 3 books of poetry.
Eligibility
- Graduating senior from
Pampa
High School
- Applicant
must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Exhibit a determination
to succeed, as evidenced by qualities such as dedication, a
positive approach and a willingness to go beyond what is expected
in academic endeavors
- Exhibit community service
and outstanding leadership
- Maintain a 2.5 or better
cumulative GPA while in college
- Major in field of choice
at a four (4) year university of choice
