Gimp Raffkind Memorial Scholarship Myrna and Daniel
Raffkind established this scholarship in November 2000 in memory of
Benjamin Gimp Raffkind to benefit students planning to attend Amarillo
College or West Texas A&M University.
Eligibility
- Graduating senior from 26 northernmost counties of the Texas
Panhandle
- Exhibit community service and leadership
- Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA while in college
- Special consideration will be given to applicants whose
recommendation letters indicate specific ability or potential which
may not be reflected in the GPA
- Major in field of choice at Amarillo College or West Texas A&M
University
